process
Step 01

Proactive Monitoring

Gain real-time insights and advanced warnings on potential asset damage caused by disasters like floods, earthquakes, and hurricanes. Monitor your assets with confidence, whether minutes or days in advance.

Step 02

Stakeholder Notification

Automatically notify relevant stakeholders via email, MS Teams, or SMS about affected or at-risk assets during impending or ongoing disasters so they can respond immediately.

Step 03

Efficient Response

Once a disaster happens, managers can view a geospatial map of impacted assets with priorities, assign teams for inspection, and monitor the progress. Inspectors use the Phone App to perform offline inspections.

features

Real-time Monitoring

emergencyX integrates with various sensors and data sources to monitor events such as floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, or other disasters in real time. Admins can set custom thresholds for each sensor.

Geospatial Mapping

With integrated maps, managers can view affected areas, assets, inspections, and data sources. They can also color-code assets and inspections by damage level or priority for quick insights.

Inspection Management

Managers and inspectors have access to all assigned, ongoing, and completed inspections in Dashboard, list, and map view. Users can filter down the data to get answers to their questions. (e.g., all ongoing inspections in District 1)

Document Management

Upload any file such as POAs, emergency plans, Drawings, or inspection reports to assets or incidents to make emergencyX your one-stop-shop for all your disaster events.

Asset Inspection History

View a list of historical inspections performed on each asset with details about the corresponding disaster, inspection type and date, inspection report, inspection photos, and the level of damage.

Predictive Analytics

We have developed predictive models for flood events and their effect on bridges. We are working on similar models for facilities and dams. We can collaborate with you to develop and incorporate predictive models for other disaster events and asset types.

Add Impacted Assets to Events

In certain cases, users have to add impacted assets for certain incidents manually. An example is an earthquake when the agency doesn’t have access to ShakeCast data.

You can do this in different ways, such as :
- Manual entry
- Upload of Excel file of assets and forecasted damage
- Drawing polygons on the map

mobile app

Access Asset Data

Access Asset Data - Access and review the asset information, such as the condition, geometry, or location of the asset, to prepare for the inspection.

Offline Inspection

Inspectors can use the iOS or Android App to perform an offline inspection from the inspection. Inspectors can add photos to the inspection and use the speech-to-tech functionality. Once the inspection is done, they can upload the data to the server with a click of a button.

Direction to the Asset

The App uses your phone’s GPS to locate you and provide turn-by-turn directions to the asset, so inspectors don’t need to worry about knowing the direction.

Bridge Inspection Software

emergencyX can integrate with your asset inspection software to get up-to-date information about assets and the latest inspection data so users can access the latest asset information during emergencies. If your inspection software is not listed below, we can still develop an integration.

Sensors and Data Sources

emergencyX can connect to different sensors and data sources to get data. The data can then be used in monitoring and predictive models to trigger alerts when a threshold is exceeded. If you have installed custom sensors on your infrastructure, we can connect and read data from it.

Eric Buell

Bridge Program Manager

" Overall less time is required to schedule inspections after an earthquake instead of being on the phone for hours and telling people where to go. You assign the assets to the right team, and they will have access to them on their phone App. Inspection is done paperless and more streamlined, and everything is uploaded to the application, which is very slick. "

Bring efficiency to the chaos.
